SHELLY D’INFERNO

SHELLY D’INFERNO

A hell of a model

It was a huge pleasure to welcome English model Shelly d’Inferno for the first time during a memorable Hyraw Clothing photoshoot—featuring the kind of gritty, hardcore urban vibe we love—the results of which you can see in this magazine.

Shelly d’Inferno needs no introduction: a tattooed model, performer, designer, makeup artist, and photographer who has been an active member of the alternative scene for over a decade. You have likely cheered for her at major alternative events or international tattoo festivals, or admired her photos on the covers of magazines—a collection that includes *Bizarre Magazine*, *Total Tattoo*, *Inkspired*, *Tattoo Italia*, and *Advanced Photographer*, to name just a few.

Always on the lookout for original ideas, Shelly d’Inferno undeniably brought professional rigor, plenty of fun, and—above all—a touch of her own brand of madness to this extraordinary shoot in a wild, decadent setting… Wild and decadent: the perfect prelude to the world to come?

Shelly d’Inferno is an internationally renowned model, but she is also a performer, designer, makeup artist, photographer, and entrepreneur! Far from simply shining in front of the camera, she also stands out for her own creations, which can be found on her website, House of Inferno.

Shelly began experimenting with photography in her teens and quickly discovered a passion for modeling, fashion, and makeup. It was only natural, then, that she launched a professional career in these fields after moving to London in 2009.

Alongside her full-time professional roles, Shelly designs and manages her own fashion brands—Magic Markings and Rummager—which are hosted on her online store, House of Inferno.

A clothing designer since the age of 15, Shelly honed her craft by completing a three-year fashion design degree. Rummager (formerly known as Heavenly Inferno) launched in 2009; the brand focuses on upcycled clothing, drawing inspiration from everything from punk-rock streetwear to bespoke stage outfits and creative costumes.

In 2013, Shelly co-founded a new fire-performance troupe called Pyrohex. The group has performed at numerous music and tattoo festivals, as well as major alternative events such as Hellfest Open Air, Download Festival, the London Tattoo Convention, Wacken Open Air, and the Brussels Tattoo Convention, alongside appearances at various fetish events and clubs worldwide.

A versatile and highly energetic individual, Shelly has always been drawn to a wide range of creative styles. This is perfectly reflected not only in her impressive modeling portfolio but also in her photography, makeup artistry, and clothing designs.

In her own words, Shelly explains that she could never be confined to a single genre; she views herself somewhat as a shape-shifting wild child who finds beauty in a wide variety of things. Unclassifiable and protean, she constantly invites us to explore new visual experiences!
