A special shout-out to Laurent Zucca—a talented tattoo artist, but above all, a friend from our hometown! We want to thank him for representing the Hyraw brand for so many years now.
After studying applied arts and interior design, Laurent Z turned to tattooing in the 2010s. A self-taught artist, the Marseille native began by watching other artists at conventions and in videos to learn and hone his technique. He opened his own studio in 2011 and quickly made a name for himself in this tight-knit industry.
He specializes in ornamental and geometric tattoos. His designs, which flow perfectly with the body's contours, are visually striking; his floral tattoos on the buttocks became an instant hit, especially among women. Laurent Z has a knack for customizing and enhancing women's backsides—much like Xzibit customizing American cars. The slogan "PIMP TON BOULE" (Pimp Your Butt) became Laurent’s trademark, inspiring women all across the country!
Laurent Z currently owns two tattoo studios—L’ENCRE NOIRE in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence—where he works and trains other tattoo artists.
