If you are a fan of metal and hardcore festivals, you have almost certainly come across the booth of this organization, which raises funds to support groups dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating abused and abandoned animals.
HARDCORE CARES FRANCE is, first and foremost, a team comprising artists, musicians from the French scene, music fans, and tattoo artists—but above all, people passionate about animal welfare. After connecting with the original "HARDCORE CARES" organization from Detroit (USA), they founded the French branch in 2013 to adopt the same concept: championing the cause of animals through music—specifically hardcore, metal, and so-called "extreme" music genres.
The funds they raise are primarily used to assist existing animal welfare organizations (such as adoption shelters, veterinary clinics, and groups caring for strays). This support takes the form of material donations or the payment of veterinary bills and equipment costs (food, bedding, etc.) for the animals in the care of their partner organizations.
They also aim to raise public awareness and provide information on a wide range of topics, such as adoption, the prevention of animal abuse, spaying and neutering, the fight against animal trafficking, and more.
To carry out these missions, they collect material and financial donations and sell branded apparel (such as T-shirts) as well as a variety of unique merchandise created in collaboration with artists, illustrators, and tattooists.
