Headcharger is a rock band from Caen (Normandy) that has been active since 2005. The band shares a strong bond with HYRAW CLOTHING; signed to a Marseille-based label, the guys have become true, long-time friends and proudly wear HYRAW gear both on stage and off.
With 16 years under their belts, the band has just released their seventh album, *Rise from the Ashes*, via the At(h)ome label (home to acts like Lofofora, Tagada Jones, and Aqme). This new release features a distinctly rock sound, unlike its predecessors, which leaned a bit more towards stoner rock.
The fresh energy brought by new members—blending solid riffs with catchy melodic lines—makes this record an album that is as dark as it is luminous, yet incredibly uplifting. It is harmonically more open, featuring a wider variety of melodies. You can sense a need for liberation and renewal that shines through on *Rise From The Ashes*.
