His unique style within the black-and-grey genre sets him apart, demonstrating a distinct approach to imagery compared to his fellow tattoo artists.
With a lifelong passion for drawing and tattooing, he naturally began creating his first pieces as he transitioned into adulthood. After spending a few years exploring various styles, he found his calling in realistic black-and-grey art. His success was such that he quickly became a recognized professional and opened his own tattoo studio.
Today, Christos travels the international convention circuit, appearing as both a guest tattoo artist and a competition judge. Several of his pieces have earned him podium finishes alongside the greatest artists in the genre.
His studio, Blackline Tattoo, is located in Lamia, Greece—a small town about two hours from Athens.
The partnership between Hyraw Clothing and Christos Galiropoulos began in 2015 at the Cezanne Tattoo Ink convention in Aix-en-Provence, where he later won the Grand Prize for Realism in 2018. We are incredibly proud to count this talented artist among our brand ambassadors.
